Dan Connelly and Desean Jackson should now be referred to as “Thunder and Lightning” after the returns they were able to muster up on Sunday. Didn’t see it? Watch the replay!

Oh the humanity! So close to victory, yet so far. Tough break for Giants fans, but you’ve got to admit, it was one hell of a return.

See the replays……………

If I had to grade the performance of St. Louis Rams rookie quarterback Sam Bradford after 15 weeks, I’d give him a B-minus.

Bradford has carried the Rams to a place they couldn’t have gotten without him. Nobody in their right mind would have picked the Rams to be competitive this season, even though they play in the God-awful NFC West. View full article »

With 2010 coming to an end, I thought I’d throw together a list of the 25 greatest Chicago Blackhawks of all time in honor of their Stanley Cup win. So here goes: View full article »

Really great trailer. Having worked in Hollywood for quite some time, I’ve seen my fair share of wasteful trailers. This is not one of them. Can’t wait for the full product.

Check it!

Aren’t people getting tired of dogging Michael Vick yet? I just don’t understand why football fans and dog lovers all over haven’t forgiven him.  It’s rather mind boggling to me. If he wants a dog, let the guy have a dog! Why don’t we all take a step back and acknowledge that we as human beings aren’t perfect. The guy just wants some love from man’s best friend.

Let me go back and address Vick’s dog fighting ring for a moment. Please bare with me. View full article »

Sack master Ndamukong Suh had some interesting things to say about his hit on Jay Cutler and what he said to him afterward, and the hair pulling of one Marion Barber when the Lions played the Cowboys a few weeks back.

Sam Bradford was the topic of the day with Steven Jackson. He had nothing but positive things to say about the offensive rookie of the year frontrunner.

He also talks about how he’s managed to stay healthy over the course of his career.

More to come from Steven later. You can follow him on Twitter @SJax39, and while you’re at it why don’t you give me a follow @BearConsults. View full article »

Hey folks, just left the Nike football summit at Cowboys stadium.

Nike unveiled new innovations in technology, footwear and apparel for high school, collegiate and professional athletes.

They provided a unique opportunity for all football fans to see the direction Nike is taking with football at its highest level.

On hand to help Nike with the launch was Steven Jackson, Dwayne Bowe, Clay Matthews Jr., Felix Jones and Ndamukong Suh. They were kind enough to spend time with the media answering questions about the new Nike technology, the current NFL season, training methods, interceptions dances, hitting the quarterback and much much more.

Nike football Summit opening ceremony

The opening ceremony was one of the coolest things I’ve seen in a long time. Nike put on quite the show which was MC’d by former Super Bowl XXl MVP Desmond Howard.

The stage was set up in the middle of Cowboys stadium and took up the better part of 40 yards.

Be careful of the volume level in the video, unfortunately I was sitting near a speaker. #bummer
